(Please go to the door at the top of the ramp at the side of the theatre. (if not open, knock loudly) Experienced actors or beginners are all welcome. We also welcome anyone who wishes to help backstage rather than “tread the boards”…watch this space! If you are interested in helping with set, props or costumes, why not come along and watch auditions and meet the team.

Last Tango in Little Grimley and The Fat Lady Sings in Little Grimley

Two short one act comedies by David Tristram about the survival of Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society.

In the first, the membership has dwindled to four – the audiences aren’t much bigger – and if they don’t come up with some rent money soon they’re going to be thrown out.  “There’s only one thing that sells tickets these days”, argues Gordon the Chairman.  “Sex!”

In the second, the players are back to tackle another threat to their survival – this time in the shape of a rival am-dram in their village, determined to upstage them with an award winning musical.  They devise an ingenious military – style plan that doesn’t, well, go quite to plan.
