Relaxed Performance of Robin Hood: Family Panto

Saturday, December 5 at 10:30 am

Join us for a special relaxed performance of our spectacular Christmas pantomime, Robin Hood.
Designed for adults and children with additional needs, along with their families, carers, and support workers, this performance offers a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy the magic of live theatre in comfort.
Adjustments will be made to create a more relaxed atmosphere, allowing audiences to respond naturally to the performance and enjoy the show in a way that works for them. Our friendly team will be on hand throughout to ensure everyone feels welcome.

Once upon a time in Sherwood Forest, the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham is taxing the townsfolk into misery and plotting to get rid of King John's young niece and nephew. Thankfully, the legendary Robin Hood is ready to save the day! Joined by the fearless Maid Marion and a merry band of outlaws, Robin takes on the Sheriff and his hilariously hopeless sidekicks, Snivel and Grovel, in an adventure packed with laughter, excitement, and festive fun.
Expect all the ingredients of a traditional pantomime: audience participation, catchy songs, dazzling dance routines, colourful costumes, comic chaos, and plenty of opportunities to boo the villain and cheer for the hero. It's a magical festive treat for the whole family — oh yes it is!
What Our Audiences Say
"Truly fantastic relaxed performance at the Grand tonight. We had such a great time and are so thankful for the opportunity to see a panto where additional needs are not just accommodated, but welcomed."
"First time I've been to a relaxed performance, and I felt more relaxed myself, never mind my children. It was wonderful to feel accepted and not judged. My children loved it!"
"I had a great time. All the staff and cast were so understanding and friendly. It was a wonderful experience."
"Absolutely fabulous. Our children were free to be themselves and no one batted an eyelid. Events like this make theatre accessible for families who might otherwise struggle to attend. Huge thanks to all the staff, volunteers and performers."
Please note: Tickets for this performance can only be booked through the Box Office on 01524 64695.
