Lancaster Grand Theatre and Funcast Character Company invite you to join them for a fantastic and fun filled professional pantomime in the comfort and opulence of one of the oldest working theatres in the country. Created especially for schools, including fantastic special effects (have you ever seen it snow indoors?) and all at an amazing affordable price that is bound to give you goose bumps!

Mother Goose has everything she could ever want, a caring family, a safe home and a magical goose called Priscilla as a best friend. She may not be rich, but who needs money when you have so much love in your life?

Someone is jealous of our hero’s happiness though, and puts a plan in motion to kidnap Priscilla and make sure that Mother Goose never smiles again!

So begins the adventure, as the gang travels to the Land of Discontent to rescue Priscilla, defeat the villain and find true happiness once again!

Will you join us to save the day? Oh yes you will!!!

Performances: 10.00am & 1.00pm

9th , 10th, 11th, 12th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th December 2024

The Funcast & Lancaster Grand Theatre Schools’ Panto has been written and produced with schools in mind. Using the PSHE curriculum and resources from children’s mental health week, Schools’ Panto will include core values that children learn in school such as: Empathy, resilience, critical thinking, truthfulness, cooperation, aspiration, tolerance, and respect. All these topics and themes are explored seamlessly throughout the story, bringing together important values with the joy and silliness of pantomime, to create a fun and engaging experience for all key stages in primary school (and school staff!) to enjoy.
